Simply hold the chisel at a 90𐩑 angle, with the blade pointing towards the wall, and strike the other end with a hammer or wooden mallet, driving the chisel into the wall. 🔹 Step 1: Position the plugging chisel at the edge of the mortar joint you wish to remove
🔹 Step 2: Tap the chisel gently with a hammer to create an initial break in the mortar
🔹 Step 3: Gradually increase force to drive the chisel deeper into the joint, working along the length of the joint
🔹 Step 4: Remove loose mortar debris as you progress to ensure a clean workspace
🔹 Step 5: Once all mortar is removed, clean the chisel and store in a dry place for next use

All our hand tools are backed by a three year product replacement warranty and our power tools range are covered for up to two years.

So if something develops a fault within the specified warranty period, we’ll replace it, subject to proof of purchase.
