🔹 Step 1: Select the Correct Pliers - Ensure you're using internal circlip pliers (like these) for internal snap rings—those fitted inside a bore or housing.
🔹 Step 2: Insert Pliers into Circlip Holes - Position the straight tips of the pliers into the small holes at the ends of the internal circlip.
🔹 Step 3: Squeeze Handles to Compress Circlip - Gently squeeze the handles to bring the circlip ends together. This compresses the ring, allowing removal or installation.
🔹 Step 4: Install or Remove Circlip- To remove: Carefully lift the compressed circlip out of the groove. To install: Position the compressed circlip into the internal groove and release slowly.
🔹 Step 5: Release and Check Fit - Once installed or removed, release pressure on the pliers and ensure the circlip is properly seated or safely stored.
