🧱 How to Use the Amtech Brick Jointer Barrels
1. Attach to the G1700 Brick Jointer
Select either the 3/4" or 7/8" barrel depending on your joint size requirements. Align the barrel with the Amtech Interchangeable Brick Jointer (G1700) and twist or click it into place until secure.
2. Prepare the Mortar Joint
Once your bricks are laid and the mortar has begun to firm up (not too wet, not fully dry), position the jointer barrel at the start of the joint.
3. Run Along the Mortar Line
With steady pressure, pull the barrel along the mortar joint in a smooth motion to create a neat, concave finish. Keep the barrel level to maintain consistency.
4. Switch Sizes as Needed
If your job requires a different joint width, simply detach the current barrel and replace it with the alternate size—no extra tools required.
5. Clean and Store
After use, clean off any mortar residue from the barrels. Store them in a compact pouch or toolbox for quick access on your next bricklaying job.
