🔹Step 1: Prepare the Surface - Ensure the cement or plaster is freshly applied and still workable. Remove any large lumps or inconsistencies before starting.
🔹 Step 2: Hold the Trowel at an Angle - Grip the handle firmly and position the trowel at a slight angle (about 15–30°) to the surface. This helps spread material smoothly without digging in.
🔹 Step 3: Smooth the Surface - Use long, sweeping strokes to level and smooth the surface. Work from one side to the other, applying consistent pressure to avoid ridges or uneven areas.
🔹 Step 4: Refine the Finish - As the material begins to set, go over the surface again with lighter pressure for a finer finish. You can dampen the trowel slightly for a smoother result.
