Hi Jean, for unblocking a WC you really need to use a suction type unblocker such as the Amtech S1485 or S1490 rather than a thing spiral drain wire that is more suited for use in small diameter waste pipes. There is also a risk of scratching the vitreous enamel with the spiral galvanised wire.
