Good morning Mike, yes F1205 & F1208 are intended to be used together. When you say ‘my electric drill’ you do mean an SDS rotary hammer drill don’t you, as the core drills can only be used in an SDS drill and not a ‘normal 13mm ‘ Jacobs’ chuck with a chuck key? Assuming the answer is yes, then all will be ok.
The core drill comes with an 8mm pilot drill to guide the 35mm core drill.
Another assumption I am making is that the cavity wall you are drilling through is standard brick/ block construction? You should consider where the hole is going to exit on the exterior wall and might want to drill the pilot hole through a mortar joint so the hole is equidistant either side of the that, although with the 35mm you could drill through the middle of the brick.
You could also consider drilling a pilot hole through the cavity wall first using a 450mm SDS drill [F4103] so you know where the hole exit point will be and to minimize unsightly ‘break-out’ of the brick, use the 35mm core drill to drill part way through the outer course of brick as this will then leave a neat circular hole for the waste pipe to exit through and for you to seal around.
I trust that this helps? Please contact us again if you need any further assistance.
