Hi, I have an Amtech F1205 350 mm SDS Extension Bar.
I want to drill through a retaining wall that has not had drainage holes built in. I intend to drill a 40mm hole.
The first question is do all of your core bits have an m22 thread to screw onto the extension bar.
What sized shank masonry bit fits into the extension bar to act as a pilot/guide hole.

Hi Mick, your F1205 SDS extension came with an 8mm TCT guide drill [7mm shank]. Yes, our SDS core drills have a 22x2mm thread so will accept the extension bar.
