A question came in this week. It’s one that I hadn’t even thought about, but it’s a legitimate one. Without knowing how to do it, makes it hard when you buy a new product.

The question that came in was: how do I take the handle off my new eight-litre pressure washer, to fill it with water?

Underneath the handle, there are two little prongs, either side. They go into little cut-outs in the top of the pressure washer. You push the handle down, through the top cap. Now when you turn it, the pump part comes out. You can now, with tap water (or you might have plant feed in there) fill the container up to the maximum level. Screw the pump back in. Tighten it up so it’s airtight, and then pull it out and you’re ready to pump away.
