Good morning Mark, to de-activate the alarm on your T2310 padlock all that is required is to turn the shackle round the other way (through 180 degrees) and it can be used as a normal padlock – there is a groove on the inside of one of the legs of the shackle so you can identify the alarm activation/ deactivation way round.
