Hi, Thanks for the video on T1985 door chain, which I have watched. I would like to ask if the steel pin is meant to be fully hammered home into its countersunk hole, or sit just above it where it can still be grasped by claw hammer or pliers etc? I wasn't sure if this was meant to be a safety feature to be removeable with pliers incase an elderly person had collapsed inside. Many thanks for your help. 07548989151
