Hi I was given a 3pc diamond sharpening set for Christmas but I'm not sure of the best way to use it

Thanks for the question, These are quite easy to use. and should be used in order, So course, Medium and the fine.
if your using for knives you should hold the edge at an angle between 15 and 20 degrees, For chisels between 25 and 30 degrees
Spray with water before and during use.
Slide your edge at the required angle across the sharpening stone , Pushing away from you about 10 times on each side before moving to the next coarseness. once all three have been complete you should have a very sharp edge.
