Hi, with the correct burr [bit]  fitted [carbide or diamond] these products would be suitable for your purpose although with only light pressure to prevent the small 3V DC motor stalling. It would be better to use a mains powered product like our F2830 that comes as a 162pc kit with suitable burrs.
