Hi, has the Amtech multi sharpener tool got a safety guard on, when you first buy it. How do I get to the blade?

Hi Soni, the sharpener doesn’t use a blade, but a block of tungsten carbide that is abrasive so doesn’t need a protective cover. You simply run the sharpener along the blade [away from you] and it will put a new edge on the blade.
