Hi Simon, the tips on the 4 in 1 snap ring pliers are 1.6mm/ 1/16th diameter and are suitable for a wide variety of circlips up to 20-25mm, but there are some bespoke ones that may differ according to the application. I have used these on motorcycles oil pump shafts and also lawnmower engines successfully.
